Gone Fishing 4 Business, a business network organisation which already runs successful events in Walsall and Derby, had its first meeting at the White Hart Tea Room in Leek.

The meeting lasted around two hours and those attending enjoyed informal networking over a full English breakfast.

Unlike other formal networking groups there is no pressure for referrals, no agenda and no commitment to long-term membership.

LSGK Accountants director Jed Eatough said: “I am really pleased that Gone Fishing 4 Business is up and running in Leek and we now want to welcome more businesses to join in.

“It’s a great way to get to know fellow business people with the aim of making all participants more successful, remembering that people do business with people they know and trust.”

The next meeting takes place between 7.30am and 9.15am on Friday 13 April at the White Hart Tea Room
