Case Study 1 – A locally based retail outlet was using manual based systems with little control over stock and struggling with cashflow.

Working alongside our client we researched and evaluated an EPOS system, with integrated stock control and accounting system. With on-site bookkeeping training, turnover increased from £510,000 to £1.1m in 12 months, pre-tax profits increased 3.5 times and no cashflow problem.


Case Study 2 – A second generation Staffordshire Moorlands based takeaway operating from a high street unit. 

On taking over the business from his father, the proprietor wanted to expand the business. Working alongside our client we assisted in developing internal financial management systems and started reporting on the business performance with monthly management accounts. This gave his bank the confidence to loan the business funds to expand. Our client now sells wholesale to several local nationwide supermarkets and recently took over a high-profile competitor in his marketplace.


Case Study 3 – A successful locally-based engineering partnership. 

They needed advice on tax planning and protecting their personal assets. We were able to recommend a solution that reduce each partner’s personal tax liability by over £2,000 pa, deliver a one off £11,000 tax free lump sum each and £44,000 lump sum taxed at 10 percent as well as securing their personal assets.
