Leek based accountant, Jed Eatough (pictured), director of LSGK Accountants, is the latest businessperson

to be invited to join Staffordshire Enterprise Board, run by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.

The board gives support to the Chambers’ enterprise activities and engagement of pre and post-start businesses in Staffordshire.

The Chambers are keen to have representatives from each area it covers. Jed is already a board member of Staffordshire Moorlands Chambers of Commerce and in 2019 he started up the Dyer’s Den competition for start-up businesses in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Jed said: “The next 12 months is a crucial period as the economy recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic. There is expected to be a significant increase in the number of individuals looking to start a business and I am keen to pass on my knowledge and experience to anyone looking to start a new business venture.”

The Board, which formed in March 2020, will be meeting again in July to plan its strategy for support. It is chaired by Jeremy Lefroy, former MP for Stafford, who is keen to move things forward with active discussion and participation from as many businesses as possible.
